aBOUT DYE-SUBLIMATION Printing

Dye-sublimation is a high-quality printing method where your design is first printed in reverse onto a special transfer paper using water-based sublimation inks. These eco-friendly inks produce vibrant, long-lasting colors while minimizing environmental impact.

The printed transfer is then carefully aligned with the fabric, where heat and pressure are applied. This process converts the solid ink directly into gas — allowing it to penetrate the fabric fibers. The result is a durable, full-color print that won’t peel, crack, or fade over time.

Sublimation is ideal for polyester-based materials and is perfect for sportswear, corporate apparel, and custom merchandise that demands both comfort and style.

The pros and Cons

Dye-sublimation delivers vivid, full-coverage prints that feel like part of the fabric. Here’s a balanced look at what makes it stand out — and the considerations to keep in mind.
